2. Donations
All donations are voluntary, non-refundable, and used at the Trust's discretion for the welfare of rescued cows — including food, medical care, shelter, staff, and infrastructure. The Trust may decline donations from any source at its sole discretion. Donations qualify for §80(G) tax benefits in India and §501(c)(3) tax benefits in the USA, subject to issuance of the relevant receipt.
3. 80G receipts
80G receipts are issued only after the donation is confirmed as received in our bank account. PAN is mandatory for donations above ₹2,000 per Income Tax rules. The Trust files 10BE forms with the Income Tax Department on the donor's behalf.
4. Adoption
The "Adopt a Cow" programme entitles the donor to name the adopted cow, receive monthly photographs, and access a hotline for the duration of the sponsorship year. Adoption does not transfer ownership — the cow remains in the care of the Trust at all times.
5. Membership
Life membership grants the deliverables described on the membership page (plaque, Archana, Gopuja, Homa, prasad, feast — frequency varies by tier). Membership is non-transferable.
6. Limitation of liability
This website is provided on an "as is" basis. The Trust is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or any external link. Information is updated periodically; please contact us to verify any specific detail before acting on it.
7. Intellectual property
All content, photographs of rescued cows, and the Dakshin Vrindavan name and logo are the property of the Trust. You may share links and brief excerpts for non-commercial purposes with attribution. Republishing the site or photographs in bulk requires written permission.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore.
