I belong to the Kasargod dwarf breed. Because I gave very little milk, my former owner sold me to butchers, and I reached a slaughterhouse.

When I was rescued, terror from that past followed me everywhere. Slowly, among the herd at Dakshin Vrindavan, I learned to feel safe again and regained my health.

Today I live with dignity and happiness. I now need one kind sponsor to stand beside me.

Kalyani found me lying beside a highway — cold, starving and covered in abrasions. Two of my legs were injured, and I could not rise without help; yet once lifted, I tried to stand and walk.

She brought me to Dakshin Vrindavan, where love and treatment helped me recover quickly.
